Physician-supported exercise program

Exercise is increasingly recognized as a vital component of healthcare. For individuals managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, or working to improve long-term health outcomes, structured and supervised exercise can play a critical role.

The Exercise as Medicine Program is designed to bridge the gap between healthcare and fitness by providing physician-supported, results-driven exercise programming in a safe, professional environment. This program emphasizes accountability, measurable progress, and alignment with your healthcare provider’s recommendations.

Our Exercise as Medicine Program is right for you when:

  • Exercise is deemed medically necessary.
  • Structure, assessment, accountability, and progress tracking are desired to ensure you safely improve physical capacity while supporting your physician’s defined goals.
  • You are presenting with common conditions supported through exercise: obesity, weight management, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arthritis, joint pain, chronic back pain, musculoskeletal pain, post-rehabilitation conditioning, stress, anxiety and depression.

Upon request, the following will be provided:

  • Program description for HSA administrators
  • Attendance documentation
  • Itemized receipts

What to expect from our structured exercise program

Eight weeks of support from our Holistic Health, Certified Personal Trainer, with the option to renew the program as needed.

  • Week 1, Initial Assessment: includes a health history, movement evaluation, and goal setting based on your specific needs and any physician recommendations. 1+ hour in duration.
  • Weeks 2 to 7, Supervised Personal Training: sessions designed to improve strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, and overall physical function. Each session is tailored to your individual goals and adjusted as you progress. 45 minutes in duration, weekly.
  • Week 8, Landmark Final Assessment: measures progress, reviews outcomes, and determines next steps, plus a supervised personal training session designed to meet the objectives outlined in the final assessment. 1 hour total in duration.

The initial 8-week program is priced at $844. In addition to supervised sessions, participants are encouraged to use our facility for independent exercise, if medically appropriate. Participants may continue with an additional 8-week program at a reduced rate of $792, with no limit on renewals for ongoing support and continued progress.
